Copywriting
Copy refers to anything you need written. This can include copy for your website, newsletter, blog, adverts, social media posts, press releases, and grant applications.
As a copywriter, I will write the words you need to convey your message in the style and voice you would like to use.
In the project brief you will set out what you want to say, who your target audience is, word limits, and tone of voice. I use this information to write your copy.
Does your business or organisation need words? Yes, it does.

Copyediting & proofreading
Copyediting and proofreading are two different things, but they both involve making changes to copy that already exists.
Copyediting can involve making significant changes to the wording and structure of text. The aim is to make your message as clear as possible and to ensure that you are using an appropriate voice.
Proofreading involves perfecting copy to make it ready for publication. I will be the fresh pair of eyes your writing needs. My job is to find errors in spelling, punctuation and grammar, as well as inconsistencies, and things that could be clarified.

Academic writing support
With seventeen years teaching experience, mostly in higher education, I can support you in producing excellent academic writing whether you are studying for A levels or a doctorate.
I will help you communicate your research with clear and accurate writing that conforms to UK academic standards. I provide detailed and informative feedback at each stage of the writing process.
This support will develop your academic writing skills, as well as help you to complete your assignments.
How it works
Listen
I will listen to your needs and wishes for your business. We will negotiate the scope and timeframe of the project. Our dialogue begins.
Tell me about your project
Discuss the details
Complete a project brief
Step 02
Research & plan
I will get to know your business, your message, and your voice. It is also important to understand the market and your competitors. I invite you to share examples of content that inspires you or that you aspire to. The more information I have, the better.
Research your business and your competitors
Look at examples of style and voice that inspire you
Understand the sector, audience, and your requirement
Plan the project based on research
Write
With the project defined, the research done and the writing planned, it is time to write. We can discuss the best platform to work with so that suggestions and changes are easy to track and discuss in step 4.
Write your content
Use the best platform to collaborate with you
Make sure that changes & suggestions are clear
Discuss
Our dialogue continue. The first draft is rarely the final draft. In the first step we will agree on a number of revisions for the project. However, this can be added to. The goal is that you are happy with your content.
